Fuel-saving design

The Sport BluResponse employs an aerodynamic shape and low-heat compound to reduce rolling resistance by 30% compared to its predecessor*. That translates to average savings of €100 per year in fuel costs**.

Excellent performance on wet

The Sport BluResponse uses a polymer compound to give you better grip and handling on wet roads. Large central grooves in the tread evacuate water quickly, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

Lower noise

Closed shoulder grooves suppress noise emission, for a quieter and more comfortable ride.

Shorter braking

Dunlop’s innovative Short Braking blocks reduce braking distances on wet and dry roads. Designed for high performance driving, these extra-stiff blocks increase road contact under braking force.

Specific bead seat system

Strengthens the link between tyre and rim for a more precise driving experience. Like the grip between your hand and the steering wheel, the Specific Bead Seat System enhances control and conveys outstanding road feedback.Benefits Enhanced road feedback; greater stability and precision.

Jointless Belt (JLB)

A Hybrid Overlay Technology that reduces circumferential deformations at high speeds.Benefits Superior high speed stability; smooth and even wear.

Maximum Flange Shield (MFS)

A rim flange protection system. MFS employs a profile of rubber that runs around the circumference of the tyre above the wheel flange. This creates a protective buffer zone.* Benefits Protects expensive alloy wheels from kerbing.* Only available in select sizes

Multi Radius Tread (MRT)

MRT designs employ ten different radii and are therefore more precise. This results in highly effective pressure deployment on the road contact patch. The effect is smoother transitions from straight to corner, leading to more precise and progressive reactions.Benefits Significantly better control over the evolution of the footprint in all driving conditions; responsive wet and dry handling; increased cornering control.

Asymmetric Tread Design

Asymmetric tread design provides improved handling and aquaplaning resistance. The continuous center rib increases stability and precision. The asymmetric groove arrangement enhances grip on wet and dry surfaces.Benefits Improved performance on straight lines and around corners; increased resistance to aquaplaning.

Flatter tread profile

The new generation of Dunlop tyres features a flatter tread profile with a 4-8% bigger contact patch, depending on size and type of tyre. A bigger contact patch delivers more stability and enhanced road feedback, allowing tires to respond quickly and precisely.Benefits Increased stability and steering precision; reduced heel and toe wear; excellent cornering stability and precision; superior dry grip.

Variable land to sea ratio

Asymmetric tread design with a variable land to sea ratio delivers high levels of aquaplaning resistance. The massive outer shoulder block ensures rapid and turbulence free water drainage, while also ensuring outstanding cornering stability.Benefits High aquaplaning resistance; increased road contact; enhanced cornering stability and steering precision.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good road holding especially in the rain I had a set of four tyre's fitted some months ago to my VW Bora, I cover approx 30,000 miles per year and the dealer suggested Dunlops. I noticed an improvement in road holding straight away and it was even more noticeable in the wet especially driving through standing water. The wear factor has been very good already having covered more miles than on my previous tyres and they are still ok. My only concern is that they seem to be a little more noisy than they were when new and there is slight cracking in the circumferential grooves around the rear tyres. I will be buying a new pair in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive and Quiet Our first set only lasted two years, but that was 38k miles 40percent motorway, 60percent driving like a monkey on B roads. We have an old Punto and if a tyre is loud we will know. This set of 4 tyres made us feel like we were in a luxury car. On the B roads we would confidently fly thru the twisty bits and confidently brake for clueless pheasants. The best part of all was the grip in the wet. I have never driven a set of tyres that were so great on wet roads. I was trying to find the limit on wet corners and I got that "this car feels like it is running on rails" sensation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good grip in the wet! I have been using these tyres for around a year. Initially I bought two for the front wheels. They provide excellent grip in the wet and dry, but noticeably superior in the wet compared to the previous brand I was using. I was so impressed I changed the rear tyres too. I have them fitted on a gt tdi golf, which has plenty of torque and thankfully the wear rate is good too. Haven't had to use them in the snow very much but don't expect any problems. Would I buy them again... Yes I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tyre Award Contender I bought a pair of these tyres a few months ago as I was sick and tyred (excuse the pun lol) of noisy other branded tyres. I noticed straight away with the handling and noise levels. I loved them that much I replaced the other 2 tyres (although nothing wrong with them) now I'm rolling of 4 dunlops and I won't be leaving Dunlop ever. Great tyre and a great tyre manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faultless grip when needed! I've recently fitted 4 of these to my Mondeo. Great tyre in terms of grip, noise level and response. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tyres I have used When my front Continental tyres fitted as original equipment to my Volvo wore down I replaced them with Dunlop Blue Response. It was a wise decision. Quieter (much), grippier and significantly better wearing. I am almost looking forward to the rear tyres being replaced with same. Difficult to be definitive but there appeared, even with only two of four tyres replaced with Blue response to be a slight improvement in fuel economy. I don't understand why Volvo do not fit them as standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All Rounder We bought these for our Citroen and were please with the value and cost for 4 new tyres. These tyres were both great in the dry and wet equally. Even when worn the breaking and cornering was very good. The only downside was they didn't have the correct size for the FTO.
