The Ride. It's in our blood.

IN THE BEGINNING,
THERE WAS DUNLOP.

-----------

When it comes to the thrill of riding on two wheels, we’ve been there since the very start. John Boyd Dunlop invented the world’s first pneumatic tyre all the way back in 1888. His motivation? To gain a competitive edge in cycle racing. The bikes may have got more powerful, but our ambition remains the same – to stay ahead of the competition through innovation.

BORN TO COMPETE.

----------

We’ve kept our competitive edge throughout our history. Willie Hume won Dunlop’s first race in Belfast in 1889, and we’re still breaking records today. The Isle of Man TT, FIM Endurance World Championship and MXGP – all have been won on Dunlop tyres. We take what we learn from race conditions and transfer it to our core range. Putting you in control of race-winning technology, every time you ride.

INNOVATION AND PROTECTION.
WE NEVER STOP.

----------

Ever since John Boyd Dunlop’s stroke of genius, we’ve been at the forefront of tyre technology. We never stop trying to improve riders’ grip, control and safety. Continually developing new technologies and tyres, and testing them on the track, in race conditions. So you can concentrate on nothing but the road ahead. And just ride.
